ISLAMABAD: Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Lieutenant General (Retired) Nadeem Ahmed, said that all people displaced by the Cyclone Phet have now returned to their homes.
He stated this while talking to media representative in Islamabad on Friday.
"Pakistan Navy moved approximately 100,000 people to safer areas," he said.
Ahmed also said that some 100 fishermen were rescued safely from rough sea.
Currently 24 medical teams were working in the affected areas and the installation of two water filters and 50 per cent sewerage work has been completed.
